Data Operations
Data Operations process and publish data: they shape raw data into Smart Data Model entities, write them to the Stellio context broker, manage subscriptions and expose database content as an interface.

From raw record to entity
The two central nodes of the NGSI-LD package form the end of almost every data chain.
1
Raw data
A Data Connector or any other node delivers a JSON object with measurements and identifiers.
2
NGSI-LD Builder
Maps the fields to a Smart Data Model, generates the URN identifier and adds the @context.
3
Post to Stellio
Creates the entity in the context broker or updates existing attributes.
Result: The entity is available through the NGSI-LD API of the Urban Data Space Platform and triggers subscriptions where applicable.
